'Tis the voice of the Humble; we heard him complain
I have driven too far and I'm thirsty again
Lets stop at a vineyard, there's plenty round here
Tough luck said the Patrick, they're not very near.
How far? said the Humble, but he'd guessed what they'd say.
The nearest said Rupert is 200k.
The Humble looked round from his place at the wheel
I must carry on driving though thirsty I feel.

'Tis the voice of the Humble, we heard him avow
"I have driven much further; I'm thirstier now."
Said Mark with compassion "Now I have a hunch
You had coffee for breakfast and water for lunch!
The vineyard is nearer; now note what I say.
You've driven just half of that 200k."
Then Humble looked round from his place at the wheel
"I must drive to the vineyard; its thirsty I feel"

'Tis the voice of the Humble, we heard him declare
"I'll die without drink; we must be almost there"
"Correct" said our Patrick, "You're right at the end
Turn left at the signpost; its round the next bend."
They saw the sign 'Vineyard' but now there's a fix
They are open 'till five - and its now almost six!
Then Humble looked round from his place at the wheel
"I must drive to the city, more thirsty I feel!"

'Tis the voice of the Humble "I've driven too far.
We are going no further for THERE IS A BAR!"
In went the Satwothers for Foster's in need
From car seat to bar seat at remarkable speed!
"Four pints on the counter" and "fill them again"
Satwothers in Oz are most hard drinking men.
Then Humble looked up from his place on his stool
"Please fill them again - I've my engine to cool!"

'Tis the voice of the Humble we heard him complain:
"I have drunk all that beer - I am thirsty again!"
So Mark in a moment, with Aussie red wine
Fills for Patrick a tankard, for Rupert a stein.
Another for Humble; this life we would choose
It's a long way to Oz - but they've wonderful booze.
But Humble, inert in his place on the floor
Had nothing to add but a satisfied snore!
